BC 1 Call provides year-round service to the BC excavating community. They help us locate underground service utilities before our buckets go into the ground.

We are often contracted to demolish 1-3 story woodframed homes throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. While these projects usually don't involve any excavation, before we begin we make a call to BC 1 Call. We do this to ensure we are aware of the location of these utilities and hazards. These locations are marked out, flagged and sectioned off from the work site if possible. Knowing what is connected to the property is also crucial so we know that every service to the home has been shut off at the street. We always ensure we are taking out the necessary permits for shutting off these utilities but a call to BC 1 Call is another safety precaution that acts as an additional layer of protection for our employees, customers, and Universal Excavation.
